Turbidity Curtains (Floating Silt Fence) are made of woven geotextile fabric attached to a foam flotation top piece and are used in lakes, ponds, rivers and oceans when shoreline construction generates silt and related debris. The floating barrier prevents contamination of adjacent waters, containing the silt to a small defined area. DGI Industries Turbidity Curtains are available in many widths and can be made with or without the bottom weighted.
