Safety Fence

1.00 Safety fence shall be DGI Industries model number PSF-50 (48” x 50’) or PSF-100 (48” x 100’) or approved equal.

Composition

2.01 Safety fence shall be made of polyethylene and conform to the specifications in table #1 below.

3.02 Color shall be OHSA orange or equivilent.

Installation

4.01 The safety fence shall be supported every eight feet (8’) on center with a sixty inch (60”) wood posts having a minimum cross section surface area of one and one half inch (1 1/2”) and secured with five (5) wire ties at each post. Posts shall extend twelve inches (12”) below grade. Painted steel T-Post or U-Post may be substituted for wood posts.
